Ever had something on your bucket list that haven’t yet achieved? Alison-Jane Sanger, from Thorley Park in Bishop’s Stortford says “Just get it ticked!”

Alison-Jane has had sky diving on her list for the last 25 years but it took her until now to finally do it. Working for both Employ-ability, a charity that amongst other things help those with mental health difficulties return to work, and Citizens Advice Bureau, she decided to raise money for them and that it was now or never!

On Friday 28th June 2013, along with her friend Hayley Wilkins (who was jumping for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research) Alison went to Beccles to complete the jump. She said “Going up in the plane was nerve racking as I don’t like flying or heights! The scariest bit was when you’re sitting on the edge of the plane waiting to go. After that the feeling was incredible, I’m so glad I’ve done it!”

Alison raised approximately £500 for the two charities of her choice. You can still donate if you’d like to help by contacting Harlow Citizens Advice Bureau or Employ-ability (01279 412950).
