Update from our Recruitment and Training Team.

Our recruitment and training team have been very busy here at Citizens Advice Harlow. The summer has now arrived and you will see more and more of us at various events around Harlow.

At last, summer has arrived along with some new staff and volunteers here at #TeamHarlow.

You will see in this newsletter that Holly and Owen have joined our staff and are both new to the Citizens Advice arena.  They both bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm, and we are looking forward to working alongside them.  Additionally, we will be welcoming two further members to our team in the next couple of weeks and will introduce them to you in our next newsletter.

We are always looking for new volunteers to join our happy band here at #TeamHarlow.  If you are looking for something that will teach you new skills, no matter your age or experience (you must be aged 18 or over), that will help you get to know the local community, and, make a significant difference in other people's lives, then come and join us.  You need to be able to read, write, and have a basic level of computer literacy to enable you to get the best out of this experience.  Please do contact us here via email at volunteering@harlowcitizensadvice.org.uk.  If you would prefer to speak to somebody first, please do call 01279 770189.

Up and coming event:

Rainbow has once again organised the ‘Great Get Together’ for the 6th of July at Harlow Town Park and Citizens Advice Harlow would be delighted to meet you there at their stand.  This event was inspired by the Jo Cox Foundation which believes we have more in common than that which divides us, so do come and join us all.  It starts at 11 am until 3 pm and is a family-friendly event for all of the local community to enjoy.  You will find food, drink, music, and lots of free activities that you can join in with. We will be there to tell you about Citizens Advice Harlow and what opportunities we have for volunteering with us.

If you are interested in joining us or want more information, please do not hesitate to contact us at: volunteering@harlowcitizensadvice.org.uk.  Make sure you provide a telephone number so we can call you back.
